Au Dernier Metro

Imagine that you have just arrived at the apartment. You are famished, jet lagged and cannot face the idea of going shopping for food after such a long trip.

Where can you eat well, without breaking the bank and without having to go too far? The answer to these questions are solved at 'Au Dernier Metro'. This Basque bar restaurant at 70, boulevard de Grenelle has, for some of our guests been a second home. (I guess that the Holiday Apartment would be 3rd home) With a huge range of beers on tap and a fine choice of wines available by the glass, you will have the plenty of refreshment to accompany your "Steack Frites".

There is one pretty bad review on Trip Advisor. Yes, it happens that you get asked to move to the bar in order that the table may be used for diners. I would hazard a guess is that had the person writing the review been one of the diners, then the review would be 5 stars.

In any case, this is where we love to go when we want a local evening out. And you can be served a meal right up to when it closes, at 2 AM
